| 表面の説明 | Bare head of Herakles in three-quarter profile facing right (or left on certain die variants), enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion, the gaping jaws framing the hero's brow and the pelt falling behind the neck. The facial features are rendered in a vigorous archaic-classical style, with a strong jaw, almond-shaped eye, and fleshy lips characteristic of early Macedonian bronze coinage. The flan is irregular, and the surfaces show the typical granular texture of hammered bronze issues of this period. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse. |
