| Obverse description | Full-length frontal effigy of King Gustav Vasa standing in the field, depicted in regal attire with crown and scepter, rendered in the Gothic hammered style characteristic of early Swedish Renaissance coinage. The king is shown facing the viewer in a formal, hieratic pose between the surrounding circular legend. The circumferential inscription reads GUSTAVUS • DEI • GRACIA • REX • SWECIE, identifying the monarch as King of Sweden by the grace of God. The relief is bold and the die-work reflects the craftsmanship of the Stockholm Mint workshop of the 1530s. |

| Reverse description | Central shield bearing the three crowns of Sweden (Tre Kronor), the principal heraldic device of the Swedish realm, set within a beaded inner circle. The shield is rendered in a Gothic heraldic style consistent with mid-16th century Scandinavian coinage. The surrounding circular legend reads MONETA • NOVA • ARGENTEA • 1535, identifying this as new silver money issued in the year 1535. The date is incorporated into the reverse legend, a typical arrangement for hammered coinage of the Vasa period. |
