| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Justinian I facing right, depicted in the late Roman imperial tradition. The effigy shows the emperor in military attire with a pearl diadem, rendered in low relief typical of Byzantine hammered coinage. The surrounding legend reads D N IVSTINIANVS P P AVG, distributed around the bust in the field.
