Obverse description The obverse is printed in ochre, brown, and rose tones with a serrated decorative border. At the top, a Gothic-script legend reads 'Fünf und siebzig Pfennig' above the issuer inscription 'SCHWEFELBAD TENNSTEDT i/Th.' in bold letterpress. A central vignette presents the municipal coat of arms in a shield, showing a mitred bishop figure alongside a rampant lion; the denomination numerals '75' appear in large red-accented figures to each side. Below, a multi-line obligation text in German cursive script affirms redemption conditions over the signature of the Magistrat, with the printer's imprint 'GERHARD STALLING · OLDENBURG' at the foot.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in ochre, brown, and rose tones with an ornate border of stylised foliate motifs. A central vignette within a shaped cartouche renders a detailed view of a Tennstedt civic building — a multi-storey structure with a tower, arched entrance, and flanking trees — surmounted by a scrolled ribbon banner inscribed 'SCHWEEFELBAD TENNSTEDT i/Th.' The denomination numeral '75' in large red-accented figures appears at each lower corner above the 'Pfg' abbreviation, flanking a four-line verse in German Gothic script attributed to Goethe.
