| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend arranged within an ornate floral rosette or cartouche, displaying the denomination '6½' and the name and title of Ottoman Sultan Abdulmecid I ('Sultan Al-Ghazi Abdulmecid Khan').
