Obverse description Against a deeply mirrored black field, the obverse features a gilt map of Kazakhstan in the lower portion, overlaid at the right with a stylized Scythian golden deer motif rendered in gilt relief, evoking the ancient nomadic heritage of the steppe. At the upper left, a circular inset displays the State Emblem of Kazakhstan in polished silver relief.
