| Beschrijving keerzijde | A sweeping panoramic view of Budapest as seen from Gellért Hill occupies the central field, rendered in detailed relief. The iconic Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd) spans the Danube River in the middle ground, while the Hungarian Parliament Building is prominently depicted on the Pest bank in the background. The inscription BUDAPEST appears in the upper portion of the field, framing the cityscape composition. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Budapest's dual listing as a UNESCO World Heritage Site — covering the Banks of the Danube, the Buda Castle Quarter, and Andrássy Avenue — was granted in stages between 1987 and 2002, making it one of the more politically layered designations in Central Europe. The 2009 issue falls within Hungary's long-running commemorative silver program, which has used the 5000 forint denomination extensively for heritage and cultural subjects since the mid-1990s.
Adamo reference EM223 places this squarely within the Hungarian specialist catalog compiled by Adamo Verlag, the standard reference for post-1946 Hungarian issues.
