| Reverse description | The reverse bears a half-length portrait of András Fáy facing slightly to the right, rendered in fine relief and positioned centrally within the field. The dates 1786–1864, denoting the subject's birth and death years, appear in two horizontal lines to the right of the portrait above his shoulder. Fáy's cursive signature is inscribed to the left of the portrait along the upper edge of the coin. The designer's initials, those of Vilmos Király, are placed to the left of the figure near the coin's rim.
