正面描述	Central intaglio portrait vignette of Sun Yat-sen set within an oval frame, surrounded by guilloche borders with corner ornaments bearing the denomination 伍仟 in Chinese characters. Two official seals appear beneath the portrait, flanking the lower panel, which carries an ornate guilloche cartouche with the Chinese denomination inscription 關金伍仟圓. Serial numbers are printed twice in red ink, one at the upper left and one at the lower right.

A large guilloche cartouche below carries the numeral 5000 and the denomination legend in English, flanked by fine lathe-work borders. Two facsimile manuscript signatures of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager appear at the foot of the note, above the printer's imprint and date.
