The lower part of the coin, separated with a dividing line, features a section of the instrument panel with three flight instruments. The centre flight instrument with an artificial horizon is depicted as a motif on a round plastic plate, embedded through the full thickness of the coin. The text “ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA” is inscribed along the upper edge of the coin. The denomination and abbreviated monetary unit “500 Kč” are written around the lower edge of the coin. The mark of the Czech Mint, in the form of the letters “Č” and “M”, is located near the left-hand edge of the coin.

Reverse description
The reverse side of the coin features two Aero L-39 jets in flight. Below them in the lower part of the coin is a mirror-reversed depiction of the flight instrument with an artificial horizon. The lower edge of the coin contains the texts “AERO”, “L”, “39” and “2025”. The texts are separated from each other and enclosed with dots. The initials of the designer of the coin Zbyněk Fojtů, made up of the letters “F” and “Z”, are located at the left-hand edge of the coin.
