Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Susanna Blunt, depicting the Queen wearing a pearl necklace and pearl drop earrings, her hair styled in an upswept coiffure. The engraver's initials 'SB' appear on the truncation of the bust. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the upper left periphery and 'D·G·REGINA' arcs along the upper right, all set against a finely textured field featuring a repeating maple leaf guilloche pattern rendered in reverse proof finish.
