| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field dominated by an elaborate tughra-style calligraphic composition incorporating the name of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, executed in the Ottoman-inspired monogram tradition with sweeping horizontal and vertical strokes. A small floral rosette ornament appears to the right of the tughra in the field. A curved Arabic legend in the lower portion of the field identifies the honorific title and the year 1998, rendered in both Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals and Arabic script. The overall design is uncluttered, allowing the calligraphic artistry to dominate the polished gold field. |
