The heading in Gothic blackletter script reads the issuer name across the top, followed by a sub-legend in smaller type, above the large denomination rendered in bold Gothic script across the centre field. Below the denomination, a two-line redemption clause in small Roman type is followed by the place and date of issue, the issuer's name in two lines, a manuscript signature, and a printed serial number aligned to the lower right. |

The issuer name in two lines of Gothic blackletter occupies the upper centre, beneath which the large numeral '500000' in bold type and the word 'MARK' in bold capitals form the dominant central design element. Vertical underprint panels on both lateral margins repeat '500000' in large outlined numerals. A three-line redemption text in small Roman type runs across the lower centre field. |
