| Description du revers | The reverse displays a finely detailed icon of the Minsk Mother of God (Минская икона Божией Матери), depicting the Virgin Mary in a frontal hieratic pose, crowned and robed, holding the Christ Child on her left arm. The Christ Child is shown in three-quarter view holding an orb, with abbreviated Christological inscriptions IC XC flanking the figure in the upper field. The entire composition is framed by an intricate gilded foliate and geometric diaper pattern border consistent with the Byzantine iconographic tradition. The inscription МІНСКАЯ appears on a cartouche or tablet at the lower margin of the reverse field. |

Issued under Belarus's long-running commemorative bullion program, which has produced gold and silver pieces tied to Orthodox religious iconography since the early 2000s. The National Bank of Belarus — which retains direct authority over commemorative issues rather than delegating to a separate mint — contracted strikes of this type to the Mint of Poland in Warszawa, one of the primary production facilities for Belarusian commemoratives during this period.
At 5g of .999 gold, this sits at the lighter end of the program's gold denominations, with larger 50g and 100g issues struck for the same series.
