Beschrijving voorzijde Central field features a stylized modernist figure rendered in black silhouette, depicting a human form with arms outstretched beneath a large tree-like motif composed of concentric swirling lines, evoking a symbolic connection between man and nature. The circular legend РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ arcs around the upper portion of the coin, with the denomination 50 РУБЛЁЎ and date 2010 inscribed in the lower field. The fineness designation Au 900 appears in the lower left field. The overall composition is executed in a bold, graphic artistic style against a polished proof-quality gold field.

Aanvullende informatie

The Battle of Grunwald in July 1410 was one of the largest pitched battles in medieval European history, where a Polish-Lithuanian coalition decisively defeated the Teutonic Knights, effectively ending the Order's military dominance in the region. The Grand Duchy of Lithuania — whose territory forms the core of modern Belarus — supplied a substantial portion of the coalition forces under Vytautas the Great, giving Belarusian state commemorations a legitimate historical claim to the victory that Polish numismatic issues tend to overshadow.

Belarus issued several coins marking the 600th anniversary of Grunwald in 2010, in both silver and gold denominations.
