At centre, a vignette of a bound sheaf of grain is set within a large oval guilloche rosette, symbolising the agricultural mortgage basis of the Rentenmark currency. The denomination numerals «50» appear at left and right in large Gothic script, with the issuer name «Deutsche Rentenbank» arching across the top and «Fünfzig Rentenmark» along the lower border, all above a small anti-counterfeiting warning legend at the foot of the note. |
