The denomination is indicated in both Western numerals (50) and Eastern Arabic numerals (٥٠) to the left and right respectively, with the Latin abbreviation A·R·E inscribed within the arc of the eagle's wings. Dual dating appears along the lower periphery in both the Hijri year (1415 / ١٤١٥) and the Gregorian year (1994 / ١٩٩٤), with the Egyptian Mint mark (ECC) struck in the exergue below the eagle. |
