| Obverse description | Olive-green and yellow underprint on cream paper; the face is dominated by two large circular guilloche rosettes flanking a central ornamental vignette, with the denomination numeral '50' set boldly within each rosette and the text 'PFENNIG' between them. A fine decorative border frames the note, with the issuing authority name at the top and the date and place of issue at the lower left; the Kommandant's manuscript signature appears at the lower right, with a vertically printed black serial number along the right margin. Three lines of regulatory text in Gothic script occupy the lower portion, stipulating the note's restricted validity as camp currency. |
