| 备注 |
Eglosheim, a small village near Ludwigsburg in Württemberg, hosted one of the many German prisoner-of-war camps established after the outbreak of war in 1914. Camp scrip of this type was not legal tender — it circulated exclusively within the wire, preventing prisoners from accumulating Reichsmark currency that could fund escape attempts or be passed to outside contacts. The 50 Pfennig denomination was a workhorse value, typically used for canteen purchases.
Campbell 2924 places this within a modest series. Eglosheim issues are not heavily documented, and surviving pieces are scarce relative to scrip from larger, better-recorded camps.
