| Obverse description | Letterpress-printed voucher in black ink over a purple guilloche underprint. A central rectangular frame encloses the large denomination numeral '50' flanked on either side, with 'Pfennig' printed in bold Gothic script across the middle band. The heading reads 'Inspektion der Kriegsgefangenenlager im Bereich des III. Armeekorps' in an ornamental cartouche at top, with two manuscript signatures below for the Inspekteur (Waldhausen) and the Adjutant, dated Berlin, 1 October 1917, and a serial number printed along the lower margin. |
