| Descripción del reverso | The reverse presents a left-facing draped bust of Johann Friedrich Böttger, the German alchemist and inventor of European hard-paste porcelain, set within a diamond-shaped frame formed by two crossed batons or rods, alluding to the Meissen porcelain tradition. The birth date elements '5. 2.' appear in the upper corners of the diamond and '1685' in the lower corners, together commemorating his birth on 5 February 1685. A small circular target motif surmounts the diamond at the apex, and a triangular device appears at the nadir.
