| Obverse description | Purple and dark violet on multicolour underprint, with the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia vignette at centre right and the circular orange bank seal at left. The denomination numeral '50' appears in large guilloche-bordered cartouches at both lower corners, with two facsimile signatures of bank officials below the central design. Inscriptions in the upper margin read 'CINCUENTA' at both sides, and the note legend runs across the upper portion of the face. |
