| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III occupies the central field, modelled in high relief by sculptor Martin Jennings. The portrait depicts the King with naturalistic detail in the hair and facial features, rendered in the restrained contemporary style adopted for the reign. The encircling Latin legend reads CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 50 PENCE · 2025, interrupted by the denomination and date at the lower right.
