| 正面描述 | Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left in high relief, rendered in a contemporary portrait style. The legend CHARLES III curves along the left periphery, and BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY arcs around the right periphery, both following the heptagonal outline of the coin. The date 2025 appears in the lower field, flanked by two small round stops. The field is mirror-polished, providing strong contrast against the raised portrait. |

| 背面描述 | A detailed naturalistic depiction of a European robin (Erithacus rubecula) perched upright on a spruce branch, facing right, occupying the centre and left of the field. The bird's characteristic rounded breast and distinctive eye are rendered with fine engraving detail, while spruce needles and branches fill the foreground and lower field. In the background, additional coniferous tree forms and what appears to be a fence or gate are visible in low relief. The legend FIFTY PENCE arcs along the upper periphery in capital letters. |

Guernsey retains the right to issue its own coinage independently of the Royal Mint under the terms of its Crown Dependency status, and has used that latitude aggressively since the 1970s to produce collector-oriented issues well beyond the island's circulation needs. This robin piece is one of a wave of thematic 50 pences issued in the first years of Charles III's reign, a format Guernsey and its neighboring dependencies have used to generate philatelic and numismatic revenue rather than fill tills.
Copper-nickel strikes of this type see virtually no circulation.
