| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in green and pink tones, dominated by large Gothic-script lettering reading "Fünfzig Mark" at centre-left, set against a dense guilloche underprint. To the right, an intaglio vignette portrays an allegorical female figure in three-quarter view, wreath-crowned and rendered in fine line engraving in the Jugendstil manner. The lower portion carries two circular Reichsbank eagle stamps flanking the manuscript signatures of the Reichsbankdirektorium, with the date "Berlin, den 24.
