| Beschrijving voorzijde | The left portion of the note is dominated by an intricate letterpress vignette of symmetrical Baroque-style urns or pedestals set within an ornate floral and guilloche framework, with the town name 'Taufkirchen' inscribed in Gothic script across the centre. Two cartouches at the bottom each bear the date '1920'. To the right, the denomination '50 Heller' is printed in bold Gothic script, accompanied by a text block in German script stating the note is redeemable in legal currency by the Gemeinde Taufkirchen, dated 1920, and signed by the Bürgermeister Josef Reithen, with a counterfeiting warning below. |

At the centre top, a vignette of a historic castle or fortified building identified by the inscription 'Jehenberg in alter Zeit' is flanked by two heraldic eagle-like birds set amid dense cloud and foliate scrollwork. The lower half carries the place name 'Taufkirchen a.d.Tr.' in large Gothic blackletter script, beneath which 'Ob. Oest.' is inscribed, all enclosed within an elaborate vine-and-bead border. |
