The signature of Wengler as Bürgermeister anchors it to a specific moment of local administrative continuity in the chaotic transition from imperial to republican governance.
Rich. Puchner was a regional designer active in Upper Austrian notgeld production during 1920–21. His involvement suggests the commune used a local commercial printer rather than one of the Vienna houses handling larger municipal series.
