| Obverse description | Executed in a bold Jugendstil woodcut manner, the obverse carries at top centre a vignette of the Heilstätte Grafenhof sanatorium set against a mountain backdrop, flanked by ornate corner numerals 50. The denomination "Fünfzig Heller" is rendered in large decorative Gothic lettering framed by elaborate scrollwork and foliate ornament, with a circular medallion bearing the numeral 50 at centre-left, while the right half presents the liability text in Gothic script; the vertical borders carry the legend MARKTGEMEINDE ST. VEIT I. P. reading upward on each side. Two manuscript facsimile signatures of the Bürgermeister and the first Gemeinderat appear at the foot, dated St. Veit im Pongau, 1. August 1920. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is organised around a large central cartouche in Jugendstil style, built from symmetrical scrollwork, pearl borders, and foliate tendrils, enclosing an oval vignette of a kneeling female saint beside a flaming vessel — an iconographic allusion to the town's patron Saint Vitus. The exchange conditions are set in Gothic script across the upper corners, stating the redemption period and issuing authority. Facsimile signatures of the Bürgermeister and the first Gemeinderat occupy the lower corners beneath the cartouche. |
