| Descripción del anverso | The obverse is printed in dark brown on plain cream paper in a hand-drawn Gothic style throughout. To the left, a crowned heraldic shield within a wreath of oak leaves serves as the central vignette. The upper right carries the issuing authority inscription in ornate Kurrent script, below which a redemption clause names both municipalities and states the validity period. Two mayoral signature lines appear in the centre, flanked by their respective titles, while the large denomination legend and numeral '50' are rendered in bold Gothic blackletter at the foot, with the year '1920' below. |

| Descripción del reverso | The reverse is printed in dark brown on plain cream paper and centres on a circular medallion portrait of a long-haired 17th-century nobleman in three-quarter profile, rendered in a fine engraving style with a landscape in the background. The denomination '50' and the word 'Heller' appear in bold Gothic blackletter in each upper corner, flanked by decorative calligraphic flourishes. The anti-counterfeiting warning 'Nachahmung strafbar' is printed in the lower left and lower right, with a date inscription '1608' and further text curved along the lower border of the medallion. |

Sankt Georgen bei Grieskirchen and Tollet issued this note jointly — an unusual arrangement even by the standards of Austrian Notgeld, where inter-municipal cooperation was rare. Most communes issued independently, making dual-authority Notgeld a minor curiosity among collectors of the type.
By 1920, Austria's postwar currency shortage had already peaked in most urban areas. Rural Upper Austrian communes were often the last to withdraw their emergency issues, and some circulated well past the official redemption deadlines.
