Reverse description The reverse features the Austrian double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread wide, each head shown in profile facing outward and surmounted by a halo-like arch. The eagle bears on its breast the Austrian shield (Bindenschild), displaying the red-white-red horizontal stripes of the national coat of arms. The date '1934' is inscribed in the lower field between the eagle's talons, the digits divided by the legs of the bird. The design reflects the heraldic style revived during the Austro-Fascist First of May Constitution period.
