| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is entirely blank, consisting of a plain, flat field enclosed within a raised rim. This uniface presentation is characteristic of an obverse-only trial striking, produced to evaluate the die design independent of a reverse type. The field bears no devices, legends, or decorative elements of any kind. |

Trial pieces for the Albert II coinage were produced internally at the Royal Mint of Belgium during the transition from Baudouin I, who died in July 1993. This nickel striking would have been used to assess die quality, metal flow, and press calibration before the circulating series was confirmed. The absence of standard catalog numbers across KM, Morin, and Leclercq suggests it never entered any published reference as a recognized pattern — its documentation rests entirely on the Grispen trial piece registry.
