Warrior (representing John the Blind) riding on the right with a helmet studded with a flight, brandishing a sword with his right hand and covering himself with a shield with the arms of Luxembourg. Behind him a phylactery inscribed with his motto in hollow. Around the legend in Luxembourgish, the initials of the engraver at 5 o`clock and below the date of death of John the Blind and the date of issue of the coin.
