| Obverse description | Central field features a three-quarter facing bust of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, depicted wearing traditional Gulf attire including a keffiyeh and bisht, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field. An Arabic legend arcing along the upper periphery identifies the subject as the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The lower field bears the denomination '50 Dirhams' in Arabic numerals and script, flanked by the inscription 'Ruler of Dubai' and his regnal dates 1958–1990 in Arabic. |
