The Securities and Commodities Authority was established by Federal Law No. 4 of 2000 to regulate UAE financial markets, including the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Dubai Financial Market. This commemorative marks the SCA's first decade — a period that included the sharp regional market crash of 2008, when UAE equity indices lost roughly half their value within months.
