Obverse description Central field features two lines of Arabic legend within a beaded inner circle, the upper line reading 'رایج مملکت ایران' (Currency of Iran) and the lower line reading '۵۰ دینار' (50 Dinars), separated by a horizontal rule. A royal Qajar crown surmounts the beaded circle at the top. The entire design is encircled by a wreath of oak and laurel branches, with the date partially visible at the base of the wreath.

Reverse description The traditional Iranian 'Shir o Khorshid' (Lion and Sun) emblem occupies the central field, depicting a passant lion in profile facing left, brandishing an upright sword in its right forepaw, with a radiant rising sun in the background. A royal Qajar crown is positioned above the main device at the top of the coin. The entire composition is framed by a wreath of oak and laurel branches. The AH date appears in Arabic-Eastern numerals at the base of the design within the wreath.
