| Reverse description | Central field depicts a detailed view of the historic Leusden church tower, a Romanesque stone structure with a pointed spire, flanked by bare deciduous trees to the left and a rocky hillside with dense foliage to the right, all contained within a circular inner border. The legend 8 JUNI arcs along the upper periphery, with the founding year 777 inscribed along the left border and the commemorative year 1977 along the right border, each separated by raised pellet stops. The place name LEUSDEN is inscribed in raised Latin capitals along the lower periphery, commemorating the 1200th anniversary of the first documented mention of Leusden. |
