背面描述	A large portrait of Martin Luther dominates the field, rendered in high relief with colourised treatment, depicting him in three-quarter view wearing a dark cap, after the well-known portrait by Lucas Cranach the Elder. To the right, a partially unrolled scroll inscribed 95 THESEN is shown nailed to a wooden post, evoking Luther's posting of the Ninety-Five Theses in 1517. Overlapping the lower right of the portrait is a gilt appliqué of the Luther Rose, displaying a cross within a heart set upon a white rose within a gold ring. The arc legend 500 ANS DE LA RÉFORME and the dates 1517 – 2017 appear along the upper rim, while the lower field carries the technical inscriptions 2 OZ – AG .999 • 50 DALASIS.
