The chick's distinctive grey downy plumage and white facial patch are faithfully reproduced in full colour. The legend EMPEROR PENGUIN arcs along the upper periphery, flanked on either side by snowflake ornaments, while the Perth Mint mintmark P appears to the right of the central figure. The inscription 1/2oz 9999 Ag is positioned along the lower exergue, denoting the silver content and fineness. |
