| 备注 |
La Fatarella is a small village in the Terra Alta comarca of Tarragona, and like hundreds of Catalan and Aragonese municipalities during the Civil War, it issued its own fractional paper currency when Republican Spain's small-change supply collapsed under wartime pressure. The Consell Municipal authorized these notes locally, but production was centralized through Barcelona printers serving dozens of similar commissions simultaneously — El Secretariat Català handled a significant volume of this emergency municipal work.
Turró catalogs over 1,700 distinct Spanish Civil War local issues; La Fatarella's 50 céntimos at #998 sits firmly in the middle of that mass of wartime necessity printing.
