备注	Riquewihr is a small Alsatian wine town of perhaps a few hundred households, and in 1914 it sat inside the German Empire — Alsace had been annexed after the Franco-Prussian War of 1870–71. These small municipal emergency notes, known as Notgeld, were issued by communes across German-held Alsace when wartime coin shortages made fractional currency impossible to obtain through normal channels. The span running through 1925 reflects the turbulence of reintegration: France recovered Alsace in 1919, and many local scrip issues remained in informal use during the transition period before the French monetary system fully absorbed the region.
