Reverse description The reverse of the host Colombian 50 Centavos displays the Colombian national arms: a shield divided into three sections, flanked by draped flags and surmounted by a condor with wings displayed. The denomination 50 CENTAVOS arcs along the upper legend, with G. 12,500 to the left and LEI 0,835 to the right indicating weight and fineness respectively, and BOGOTA inscribed along the lower periphery. A circular Costa Rican counterstamp featuring a standing lion and the legend HABILITADA POR EL GOBIERNO is applied to the lower right of the reverse field, authorizing the coin as legal tender in Costa Rica.
