| Reverse description | The reverse displays a circular central medallion with a horizontally lined background, surrounded by a ring of small open circles mirroring the obverse design. The outer legend reads 中華民國三年 (Republic of China, Year 3, i.e. 1914), arranged around the upper and lower periphery. A milled border of fine denticles frames the entire design. The composition and layout are consistent with the Sichuan provincial copper cash series of the early Republic period, here executed as a contemporary counterfeit of the Kansu prototype. |
