Obverse description Uniformed effigy of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) facing slightly left, depicted wearing a military peaked cap adorned with a royal emblem and spectacles, dressed in a formal military jacket with epaulettes and decorations visible at the chest. The portrait occupies the majority of the field, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the uniform. Thai script legends flank the portrait to the left and right within the inner border.
