| Beschrijving voorzijde | Salmon-pink and dark brown Notgeld note with a geometric guilloche border framing the entire face. The denomination "Fünfzig Millionen Mark" is set in bold Gothic (Fraktur) script within a central oval vignette with light underprint. Below the oval, the series designation "REIHE I" and a serial number appear alongside a text block in Fraktur script stating the issuing authority, the date Düsseldorf, 17. Sept. 1923, and the signatures of the Kreisausschuß officials. A red overprint in vertical orientation along the left margin declares the note invalid in the occupied territories of the Regierungsbezirk Düsseldorf and valid only until 1 April 1924. The printer's imprint "GREVEN & BECHTOLD, KÖLN, WEYERSTR. 19" appears at the bottom margin below the border. |
