The denomination numeral '50' appears in a star-burst vignette at upper centre, with the value inscription 'Fünfzig Milliarden Mark' in bold Gothic letterpress script across the centre of the note. A red-overprinted rectangular panel at left bears the validity inscription confirming acceptance throughout the Regierungsbezirk Pfalz until 1 April 1924.
