| 备注 |
Guernsey's German Occupation issues were produced under direct Nazi administration, with the island's own States printing office — the Guernsey Press — tasked with producing emergency currency after sterling notes ran short and the occupiers controlled all financial flows. The 5 Shillings denomination was part of a series authorized because coins had largely vanished from circulation, hoarded or removed, and the island's economy needed small-value instruments to function at all.
The paper quality was inconsistent across the run, constrained by wartime supply. Notes dated within this window can show variation in stock weight and ink coverage — not errors, but the physical record of a print shop working under occupation.
