| Reverse description | The reverse displays a finely detailed depiction of a Sussenbornian horse (Equus sussenbornensis) in full gallop, rendered in high relief against a stylised rocky and hilly landscape with foreground vegetation. The extinct prehistoric horse is shown in left profile, with musculature and movement conveyed in an artistic, naturalistic style.
