| Obverse description | Draped bust of Libertas facing right, wearing a diadem inscribed LIBERTAS and an elaborately braided coiffure with ringlets at the nape. The legend CONFOEDERATIO HELVETICA arcs around the upper periphery, flanked by a beaded border. The date appears in the lower field, separated by two small six-pointed stars. The portrait is executed in a refined neoclassical style characteristic of Karl Schwenzer's engraving. |
