The heading 'Ulster Bank Limited' appears at the top of the note, with 'Northern Ireland Issue' and 'Belfast' at the foot, while the denomination 'Five Pounds' is rendered in large letterpress script across the centre. Corner numerals and finely engraved floral ornamentation complete the composition. |
