| 表面の説明 | At centre, a stylised Egyptian vulture displayed with wings spread wide, rendered in the manner of the ancient Nekhbet motif, occupying the lower portion of the field. Above the vulture, the Arabic name of Egypt in two lines flanked by a decorative lotus flower at the apex. The abbreviation 'A·R·E' (Arab Republic of Egypt) appears across the centre field. The denomination is expressed in both Western Arabic numerals ('5 LE') to the left and Eastern Arabic numerals ('٥ ج.م') to the right. Dual dates are inscribed along the lower periphery: the Gregorian year '1993' and the Hijri year '1414', each rendered in both Latin and Eastern Arabic numerals. Mint marks 'E' and 'CC' appear in the exergue. The entire design is framed by a decorative beaded border. |

| 裏面の説明 | A highly detailed, finely modelled frontal portrait of the funerary burial mask of Tutankhamen, the ancient Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty, dominates the entire field. The mask is depicted with characteristic striped nemes headdress featuring lappets falling to either side of the face, surmounted by a uraeus and vulture head at the brow. The broad usekh collar with its layered pectoral ornament is rendered in precise relief across the lower portion of the design. The mirror-polished proof field provides a strong contrast to the finely frosted sculptural relief of the mask. No legends or inscriptions appear on this face; the design is framed by a decorative beaded border consistent with the obverse. |
